US and Iranian technical teams are expected to hold indirect talks in Doha on July 1, focusing on implementing the June 17 ceasefire memorandum, releasing frozen Iranian assets, and de-escalating tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.

US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in the capital city of Qatar and met the mediators.

However, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry confirmed no direct or high-level U.S.-Iran meetings are scheduled. The discussions come amid ongoing efforts to stabilize the region after months of conflict.
