The uproar by the opposition over various issues, including the police action against protesting students at Jantar Mantar, continued to disrupt Parliament today and the proceedings were repeatedly adjourned. The Appropriation Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha amidst the uproar by the opposition and after that the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned till tomorrow.

After the Rajya Sabha proceedings began at 11 am, the report of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Urban Development was presented in the House.

Then, while the opposition was shouting slogans, Speaker C. P. Radhakrishnan called for a zero clock. After that, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge raised the issue of the Ram temple donation scam.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju responded to this. Rijiju criticized those opposing the Ram temple for misleading the country by shedding tears and saying that donations have been misappropriated. However, the opposition, demanding a statement from Amit Shah, jumped into the well and started shouting slogans.

As the uproar continued, the proceedings were adjourned first till 12 and then till 2 pm. The bill related to birth and death registration is currently being discussed in the Rajya Sabha.
