Supplementary demands worth Rs 97,706 crore were approved in the Legislative Assembly yesterday after discussion. In this, a provision of Rs 20,752 crore has been made for farmer loan waiver.

In this, a provision of Rs 200 crore has been made for the pending burden of the previous loan waiver and Rs 20,552 crore for the newly announced Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Shetkari Karzmukti Yojana 2026.

It has been clarified that despite these gross supplementary demands of a total of Rs 97,706 crore, taking into account various technical adjustments and the return of central government assistance, the actual net additional burden on the state exchequer will be Rs 74,817 crore.
