Six sitting Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) joined the Shiv Sena party today, embracing the saffron flag in the presence of the party's chief leader and Deputy Chief Minister, Hon. Shri Eknath Shinde. Speaking at the induction ceremony held at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre in Mumbai, Eknath Shinde remarked that the Shiv Sena had hit a 'sixer'—not just a 'four'—with this move.

The MPs who publicly joined the Shiv Sena at this event were Sanjay (Bandu) Jadhav (three-time MP from Parbhani), Bhausaheb Wakchaure (Shirdi), Omraje Nimbalkar (Dharashiv), Sanjay Dina Patil (North-East Mumbai), Sanjay Deshmukh (Yavatmal-Washim), and Nagesh Patil-Ashtikar (Hingoli).

He clarified that these MPs had not joined out of any personal self-interest; rather, they had joined the Shiv Sena to ensure the development of their constituencies, secure justice for party workers, and resolve issues faced by the public.

Stating that keeping one's word is their greatest strength, Eknath Shinde assured that projects, development works, and issues concerning the constituencies of these newly joined MPs would be prioritized and resolved. He also pledged to stand firmly by these six MPs should they face any difficulties in the future.

Senior Shiv Sena leaders Ramdas Kadam and Gajanan Kirtikar, MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, Ministers Gulabrao Patil, Bharat Gogawale, and Pratap Sarnaik, along with numerous other party ministers, MPs, MLAs, and office-bearers, were present at the event.
