The General Manager of North Western Railway held a high-level meeting with the Director General of CRIS to discuss ways to make the digital operations of the railways more effective and technology-enabled.

Director General of Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) in New Delhi, Satya Kumar visited the headquarters of North Western Railway. On this occasion, a high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of General Manager of North Western Railway, Pankaj Sharma, in which all the heads of departments and senior officers of North Western Railway were present.

During the meeting, various software, digital platforms and future IT initiatives being developed to make the functioning of Railways more efficient, transparent and technology-enabled were discussed in detail. Director General Satya Kumar gave information about the improvements, new features and innovations being implemented in various applications developed by CRIS to accelerate the digital transformation of Railways.

In the meeting, various department heads submitted suggestions for improvements in the software, new features, and streamlining and user-friendly processes as per the operational and administrative needs of their respective departments. These suggestions were discussed positively and fruitfully.

General Manager Pankaj Sharma appreciated the good initiatives being taken by CRIS and emphasized on developing new dashboards and monitoring systems for officers and supervisors.
