Cooperation Minister Babasaheb Patil informed that 61,900 eligible farmers of Pune District Central Cooperative Bank will get the benefit of loan waiver worth Rs 523 crore under the state government's ambitious Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Shetkari Karzmukti Yojana-2026.

Under this scheme, the list of eligible beneficiaries with outstanding loans of up to Rs 2 lakh of Pune District Central Cooperative Bank will be published today. The Cooperative Minister said that the lists of eligible farmers from other districts of the state will also be published in phases.

Pune District Central Cooperative Bank has uploaded the list of eligible beneficiaries on the scheme portal developed by MahaIT and the necessary verification process has been completed. Now, the eligible farmers will be notified through SMS on their registered mobile numbers for Aadhaar authentication.

To make information about the scheme easily available to the beneficiaries, lists of eligible farmers will be published in Gram Panchayat offices, various executive service cooperatives and relevant bank branches.

Cooperation Minister Babasaheb Patil clarified that this scheme is being implemented to provide relief to farmers from the burden of debt, and the government is taking necessary action to ensure that eligible beneficiaries get the benefits in a transparent and easy manner.
