Prime Minister Narendra Modi today issued a video message on social media, urging the youth to shun abusive language and hatred. He made it clear that abusing does not solve any problem. Referring to a recent incident at Jantar Mantar, he mentioned that some youth had used language that was unbecoming of a civilized society. He mentioned that abusive words were used against him and his late mother; but at the same time, he also acknowledged that mistakes can be made in youth and that one should be given the opportunity to correct them.

The Prime Minister stressed that instead of punishing such youth or insulting them in the society, they should be guided to the right path. Stating that he forgives these youth, he appealed to the society to give them a chance to improve. Shri. Modi urged the youth to learn from their mistakes, try new things and move towards fulfilling their dreams. Stating that the country is progressing, he expressed his desire that the youth of the country should also move forward and play an active role in nation building.
