Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken serious note of the severe flood situation in Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. On Thursday, he held an important meeting with the MPs of both the states at Parliament House and discussed in detail the challenges posed by the floods.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi said that the Central Government will work with full strength along with the respective State Governments in relief, rescue and rehabilitation works in the flood-affected areas. He assured that the situation will be closely monitored and all possible assistance will be provided.

Also, Prime Minister Modi prayed for the safety and well-being of all those affected by this crisis.

In a post on the social media platform 'X', Prime Minister Modi wrote, "Met the MPs of Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. We discussed the post-flood situation there. The Central Government will continue to work with the respective State Governments to address the challenges. Praying for the safety and well-being of all."

Notably, the recent heavy rains have led to an increase in floods and landslides in Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, disrupting normal life in many areas.
