Taking the initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has significantly reduced the size of his convoy during his recent domestic tours.

This reduction in the number of vehicles has been implemented while strictly maintaining the essential security arrangements mandated by SPG protocols. Immediately following his speech in Hyderabad, the size of his convoy was scaled down during his visits to Gujarat and Assam.

According to sources, Prime Minister Modi has also directed officials to incorporate electric vehicles into his convoy wherever feasible, without purchasing any new vehicles.
