PM Modi to visit France and Slovakia

PM Modi will visit France and Slovakia in June, hold bilateral talks, attend the G7 Summit, inaugurate Bharat Innovates, and participate in VivaTech.

At the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake an official visit to France from June 13-14, 2026 (Nice), and June 16-19, 2026 (Evian and Paris). He will also visit Slovakia from June 14-16, 2026.

In the first leg of the visit, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Nice for a bilateral meeting with President Macron on June 14. The two leaders will review the full spectrum of the India-France bilateral relationship, which was elevated to the level of a Special Global Strategic Partnership earlier this year.

In Nice, the two leaders will also jointly inaugurate the 'Bharat Innovates' event, which will bring together leading innovation startups and venture capital funds from India, France and other countries.

In the second leg of the visit, at the invitation of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a State Visit to the Slovak Republic from June 14-16, 2026. During the visit, Prime Minister Modi will hold talks with Prime Minister Fico and explore new avenues of cooperation. He will also meet President Pellegrini.

In the third leg of the visit, the Prime Minister will participate in the G7 Summit in Evian, France, on June 16-17, 2026. During the summit, he will exchange views with G7 leaders and those from invited partner countries and international organisations.

In the final leg of the visit, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Paris on June 18, 2026, for further bilateral engagements and to attend the VivaTech Summit, Europe's largest technology and startup event.
