NEET UG re-examination to be held tomorrow in 551 cities in India...

The re-examination for the medical entrance exam (NEET-UG) will be held tomorrow in 551 cities across India and 14 cities abroad. Over 2.269 million candidates will appear. The exam will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Candidates have been given an additional 15 minutes of time this time. The previous NEET exam, held on May 3, was canceled due to an alleged paper leak controversy. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made extensive security arrangements to ensure the exam is fair, peaceful, and free of cheating. CCTV cameras will monitor every activity at all centers. Adequate security forces have been deployed, along with magistrates. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting mock drills across the country today as part of preparations for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination. The NEET re-examination will be held in 59 districts across the state. For the convenience of candidates, the Northern Railway Lucknow Division is running special unreserved trains. On showing the admit card, the candidates will get 50 percent discount in the fare of State Transport Corporation buses.
