The NTA has resolved the controversy surrounding exam center allocations ahead of the NEET-UG 2026 re-exam. NTA Director General Abhishek Singh stated that the candidate from Nagpur has now been allocated an exam center in Nagpur.

The family of Abdullah Mohammad Talib, a NEET-UG candidate from Nagpur, had claimed that the admit card issued for the re-exam to be held on June 21 showed a school in Abu Dhabi as the examination centre, even though they had not opted for any such option.

Following the family's complaint, the NTA intervened in the matter and the candidate has now been allotted an examination centre in Nagpur.
