Monsoon has become active once again in Uttarakhand.

Monsoon has reactivated in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall, accompanied by lightning and thundershowers in most districts of the state between July 30 and August 3. People in sensitive areas have been advised to remain alert and avoid unnecessary travel.

According to the Meteorological Department's forecast, heavy to very heavy rainfall and heavy rainfall at some places are likely in Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Nainital, Champawat and Pithoragarh districts on July 30. Heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Pauri, Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Nainital districts on July 31.

Heavy rain warning has been issued for Dehradun, Pauri, Pithoragarh and Champawat on August 1. Heavy rain is expected in Dehradun, Tehri, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Nainital districts on August 2.

A warning of heavy rain has been issued for Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Bageshwar districts on August 3.

Heavy rains accompanied by thundershowers are likely to continue in these hilly districts. The Meteorological Department has advised all district administrations, disaster management agencies and the general public to remain alert.
