Based on this information, the police laid a trap on July 28 in front of the KDMC Hospital on Saket Road, Kalwa. During the operation, they intercepted and searched an auto-rickshaw bearing the registration number MH-04-MT-3662.

The search revealed 1 kg 520 grams of MD (Mephedrone) drugs inside the vehicle. Police stated that the estimated value of the seized contraband in the international market is ₹3.04 crore.

The police arrested the accused and seized the MD drugs, the auto-rickshaw, a mobile phone, cash, and other items. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act.
