The state government has provided significant relief to the general public by making major changes to land survey fees and classification.

A fee of only ₹200 will now be charged for land surveys required for family partitions.

Additionally, it has been made mandatory to complete regular surveys within 90 days and expedited surveys within 30 days.

Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule took this decision following instructions from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis; it is expected that this move will curb delays and corruption in the survey process.

Under the new decision, the fee for a regular survey of up to 2 hectares in rural areas has been fixed at ₹2,000, while the fee for up to 1 hectare in urban areas is set at ₹3,000.

The administration has stated that this decision will make the land survey process more transparent, swift, and citizen-friendly.
