Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule expressed confidence that the Mahayuti alliance would secure a major victory in the remaining eleven Legislative Council seats, noting that six seats had already been won unopposed.

Speaking to the media in Nagpur, he commented on various issues, including the Legislative Council elections, developments within the Shiv Sena, the state of the Congress party, and the ethanol policy.

Regarding the Legislative Council elections, Bawankule stated that while six seats were uncontested, the Mahayuti would achieve a decisive victory in the remaining eleven. He claimed that the Congress would secure only about 20 percent of the vote in Nagpur, and that the Mahayuti would achieve significant success across Vidarbha, partly because the opposition lacked a candidate in the Bhandara district.

He also commented on internal communication and the role of leadership within the Shiv Sena, noting that some elected representatives were dissatisfied due to internal unrest. He remarked that representatives elected by the people require power to drive development.

Meanwhile, responding to allegations made by Sanjay Raut, he asserted that party switching is not driven solely by money.

He also pointed out that there was dissatisfaction among some MPs regarding the Congress party's stance on the Women's Reservation Bill.

Furthermore, he clarified that the BJP was not actively soliciting MLAs or MPs to join the party, stating that the party already possessed sufficient cadre strength and resources.

Speaking on the ethanol policy, he mentioned that the policy was being implemented through the initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. He also alleged that certain elements were spreading rumors regarding this policy.
