Against the backdrop of the current global situation, and with the aim of conserving fuel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the initiative to issue directives to reduce the number of vehicles in his official convoy.

The Prime Minister has implemented a significant reduction in his convoy. While maintaining the necessary security standards mandated by the ACPG protocol, the number of other vehicles has been curtailed.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, keeping the national interest in mind, has issued an appeal urging everyone to exercise prudence in fuel consumption.

Shinde added that the Chief Minister had also issued a similar appeal in this regard yesterday, and that Maharashtra is responding positively to the Prime Minister's call. Shinde further informed that they have begun utilizing electric vehicles and have, in turn, reduced the size of their own official convoy.
