Indian boxers have performed strongly and won two gold medals at the ongoing 23rd Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

In the women's 54 kg final, Preeti Pawar won the gold medal by defeating Canada's Scarlett Savan 5-0. Preeti, who remained undefeated throughout the tournament, dominated every bout and won India's first gold medal in boxing.

World champion Jasmine Lamboria then defeated defending champion Mikaela Walsh of Northern Ireland in the women's final to clinch the gold medal, giving India its second gold medal in boxing.

Meanwhile, Indian athletes also achieved success in the men's triple jump. Praveen won the silver medal with a jump of 16.58 meters, while 20-year-old Selva Prabhu won the bronze medal with a jump of 16.52 meters.

Indian athletes continue to race for medals at the Commonwealth Games, with notable performances across various sports.
