Former South African President Jacob Zuma reaches Haridwar

Former South African President Jacob Zuma today visited the Dakshin Kali Temple in Haridwar and prayed. Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Kailashananda Giri performed a special puja for Zuma. Zuma described the experience of praying in Haridwar as very positive and expressed hope for victory in the 2029 elections in South Africa. He called Haridwar a land of gods and praised its spiritual significance. Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashananda also blessed Zuma for victory. It is noteworthy that former South African President Jacob Zuma was actively involved in the anti-apartheid movement. He became the President of South Africa in 2009 and had to resign in 2018 due to corruption allegations.
