Former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said that the students who launched a nationwide protest over the NEET paper leak issue have written a golden chapter in the country's democratic history by showing their solidarity.

He was addressing a youth meeting organized at Shivaji Park in Mumbai today. He appealed to the youth to maintain awareness for their rights. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray said that this student movement has proved that today's 'Gen-Z' can challenge the government.

In the wake of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation yesterday over the NEET paper leak, students gathered in large numbers at Shivaji Park in Mumbai today. In Dhule city, various social organizations and student organizations came together today and took out a Tiranga Yatra in support of the students' protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

The Thane City District Congress Committee also organized a 'Vidyarthi Vijay March' yesterday. In Buldhana district, Mahavikas Aghadi, Shetkari Sanghatana, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and other parties also celebrated the success of this movement today.
