External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar held a meeting with Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov. During the meeting, the two leaders deliberated on bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues. They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the historical, cultural, and strategic ties between India and Uzbekistan.

Both sides discussed enhancing cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, connectivity, education, digital collaboration, and people-to-people ties. The External Affairs Minister stated that India is committed to further advancing its special partnership with Uzbekistan.
