Commercial flight operations commenced at Noida International Airport today, Monday. Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu inaugurated the airport by lighting a ceremonial lamp. The inaugural flight—an IndiGo service from Lucknow—arrived at Noida Airport at 8:05 AM. Subsequently, the same aircraft departed for Bengaluru and reached its destination at 11:05 AM, as scheduled. However, the highlight of the day's commercial launch was a flight from Noida to Lucknow carrying 172 farmers. These farmers traveled to Lucknow accompanied by Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh. Upon arrival, they met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and expressed their gratitude. These farmers had provided their land for the Jewar Airport project; this special flight was organized to honor their participation and contribution.
