First Indian LNG Tanker Disha Safely Crosses Hormuz

After three months of disruption, India’s LNG tanker Disha arrived at Dahej after safely crossing the Strait of Hormuz, carrying 62,370 tonnes of LNG.

In a major relief for India’s energy sector following the US-Iran peace deal and reopening of maritime routes, LNG tanker DISHA arrived at the Dahej LNG Terminal in Gujarat’s Bharuch district on Thursday after successfully crossing the Strait of Hormuz.

The vessel was stranded for over three months due to tensions around the Strait. The vessel was carrying 62,370 metric tonnes of liquefied natural gas.
