The annual Ashadhi Wari has entered its final phase as the palkhis of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj, which halted at Wakhri on Thursday, are set to proceed towards Pandharpur later this evening.

During the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi procession, the fourth Gol Ringan ceremony was held near Bajirao's Well, while the second Ubhe Ringan ceremony in the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi procession was conducted amid great enthusiasm. The devotional atmosphere has intensified as thousands of Warkaris eagerly await the darshan of Lord Vitthal.

Pandharpur is fully prepared for the grand Ashadhi Ekadashi celebrations. The official Mahapuja of Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini will be performed shortly after midnight by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, accompanied by devotional chants of "Shri Vitthal."

Around 1.5 million devotees have already arrived in Pandharpur for the annual pilgrimage. The district administration and the Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Temple Committee have made extensive arrangements for crowd management, darshan, security, healthcare services, and transportation to ensure a smooth experience for pilgrims.

Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Temple Committee Co-Chairman Gahininath Maharaj Ausekar shared details about the preparations and the facilities being provided for devotees during the festival.

Meanwhile, to facilitate the travel of pilgrims, South Central Railway has announced special train services between July 23 and August 3, offering additional connectivity for devotees travelling to Pandharpur.

With devotional chants filling the air and the Wari nearing its culmination, devotees from across the country are eagerly looking forward to the Ashadhi Ekadashi celebrations in Pandharpur.
