On the advice of the Prime Minister, the President accepted the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan and Pralhad Joshi was given additional charge.

President Draupadi Murmu has accepted the resignation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan with immediate effect.

According to a press release issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, the decision was taken under Article 75(2) of the Constitution on the advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Additionally, on the advice of the Prime Minister, the President has entrusted Union Minister Pralhad Joshi with the additional charge of the Ministry of Education in addition to his existing portfolios.
