Dharashiv MP Omraje Nimbalkar had been the subject of discussion in recent days due to his political stance. Furthermore, the court's verdict in the murder case of his father, Pawanraje Nimbalkar, sparked significant debate within political and social circles.

In the case, which had been ongoing for twenty years, the court acquitted all the accused, including the prime accused Padamsinh Patil. Expressing dissatisfaction with the verdict, Omraje Nimbalkar had stated that he would seek recourse in the High Court. He had also expressed that the verdict came as a major shock to his family.

Meanwhile, Nimbalkar had announced that he would reveal his political stance within two days of the verdict. Accordingly, he clarified his position yesterday, announcing his decision to leave the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) faction and join the Shiv Sena. He stated that he would pursue his future political journey under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

He had held detailed discussions regarding this decision with party workers, office-bearers, and supporters. Nimbalkar clarified that the decision was taken only after considering everyone's suggestions and opinions.

He also stated that he would work within the Shiv Sena to foster the development of Dharashiv district and to effectively raise issues concerning the public.
