Congress and BJP workers held opposing protests across the state yesterday in the wake of the NEET paper leak case and the protests in Delhi.

The Congress held a protest in Mumbai to protest the alleged lathi-charge on students in Delhi and the alleged misbehavior of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. A massive march was taken out from Gandhi Bhavan to the BJP office premises under the leadership of Congress state president Harshvardhan Sapkal. During this, the police detained the marchers.

In response to this protest, BJP workers protested in front of the Congress office, Tilak Bhavan in Mumbai. BJP workers shouted slogans against the Congress, accusing it of trying to create chaos in front of the Prime Minister's residence.

Meanwhile, in Pune too, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha workers protested in front of the Congress Bhavan. The BJP Yuva Morcha workers accused the Congress of doing politics by putting guns on the shoulders of students.

Accusations are being exchanged between the ruling party and the opposition over the NEET paper leak and student issues, and political protests have gained momentum in various parts of the state.
