There is good news for lakhs of travelers in the Delhi-NCR region. Commercial flight operations are set to begin at Noida International Airport tomorrow. IndiGo's inaugural flight will depart from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow at 7:05 AM and arrive at Noida International Airport at 8:05 AM.

Following this, the first commercial flight from Noida to Bengaluru will be operated. Noida International Airport has been developed as the second international airport for the Delhi-NCR region. It has been designed with a special focus on passenger convenience and technology. The facilities available here include self-check-in kiosks, biometric boarding under the 'DigiYatra' system, automated baggage drop counters, and a largely paperless travel process; all aimed at reducing congestion and waiting times.

The first phase of Noida International Airport was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 28. At the time of the inauguration, the Prime Minister described the airport as a historic project for connectivity, trade, and economic development—not just for Uttar Pradesh, but for the entire North India region.
