The process of caste certificate verification is carried out completely as per the directions of the Supreme Court and the rules of law. There is no political interference in this process, nor can the state government or any minister interfere in it, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has clearly responded to the allegations made on the issue of cancellation of Kunbi certificates.

Maratha activist Manoj Jarange had strongly criticized the Mahayuti government in the state and Devendra Fadnavis over the issue of cancellation of Kunbi certificates. In this backdrop, Fadnavis clarified the government's position while speaking to the media today.

Fadnavis said that the verification committee clarified that the caste certificates of many BJP corporators and Zilla Parishad members have been cancelled.
