4 key Delhi metro stations reopen after closure

DMRC reopened entry gates at 4 Delhi Metro stations while 14 others remained closed for the 4th day due to security concerns.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that the entry gates at Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat metro stations are now open.

The DMRC had temporarily closed 18 metro stations, including Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat, from 7:30 a.m. on July 25 until further notice due to security concerns.

However, 14 other metro stations remain closed for the fourth consecutive day due to security concerns linked to the CJP protest near Jantar Mantar.

Meanwhile, the CJP has announced the withdrawal of its agitation after the government agreed to all its demands.
