U.S. naval forces continue to enforce a naval blockade of Iranian ports, causing multiple merchant vessels to change course.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) on Thursday released a video purportedly showing a U.S. Navy sailor aboard a warship directing a merchant vessel to change course.

CENTCOM said the footage was recorded in the Gulf of Oman, located east of the Strait of Hormuz.

The blockade targets ships entering or leaving Iranian ports, with U.S. forces directing vessels to turn back as part of enforcement.
