What exactly happened in the Rajya Sabha?

Kharge's attack: Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, took a direct aim at the Modi government by raising the issue of police action against students.

Outrageous allegations: Kharge raised his voice in the Rajya Sabha and said, "Thousands of students are sitting at Jantar Mantar against the paper flitting, but they are being lathicharged. The Modi government is trying to suppress the voice of our youth by using force and drive them away."

Parliament adjourned: After Kharge's statement, opposition MPs started shouting slogans in Parliament. Due to this huge uproar, the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha had to be adjourned repeatedly.
