Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of all 13 accused arrested in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case till July 24. All the accused were produced before the court through video conferencing.

During the hearing, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) told the court that the investigation into the case is ongoing. The investigating agency mentioned that the role of two or three other suspects is also being investigated and they may be arrested soon.

So far, the CBI has arrested a total of 13 accused in the case; these include the alleged mastermind P. V. Kulkarni and several coaching centre operators.

Notably, the NEET-UG 2026 exam was originally scheduled to be conducted on May 3. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had cancelled the exam following allegations of paper leakage. Subsequently, the exam was re-conducted on June 21 under tight security and close supervision.
