The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken aim at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his foreign tours. During a press conference held in New Delhi, party spokesperson Sambit Patra raised questions regarding the Congress MP's visits abroad. Sambit Patra stated that while Rahul Gandhi's tours are a matter of public knowledge, the source of the funds utilized for these trips remains unknown. He alleged that a total of ₹60 crore was spent on Rahul Gandhi's foreign tours.

Sambit Patra further added that the BJP possesses details regarding Rahul Gandhi's income for the period spanning from 2013-14 to 2022-23. According to him, Rahul Gandhi's total income during this ten-year period amounted to ₹11 crore.

The BJP spokesperson remarked that, despite having an income of ₹11 crore, Rahul Gandhi has spent ₹60 crore.
