आषाढी वारीसाठी पंढरपूरकडे पायी निघालेल्या शेगावच्या श्री गजानन महाराज पालखीचं आज धाराशिव शहरात उत्साहात आगमन झालं.

The palanquin of Shri Gajanan Maharaj of Shegaon, which had set out on foot towards Pandharpur for the Ashadhi festival, arrived in the city of Dharashiv today with enthusiasm.

This is the 57th year of Gajanan Maharaj's Ashadhi foot procession. On this occasion, devotees welcomed the palanquin with great devotion in Dharashiv city. Attractive rangolis were drawn on the palanquin path. Also, a large crowd of devotees gathered on both sides of the road to have darshan of Shri Gajanan Maharaj.

Hundreds of devotees marched from Shegaon towards Pandharpur, entering the city of Dharashiv, accompanied by the horse of Shri Gajanan Maharaj, the Warkaris carrying saffron flags, the sound of Tal-Mridangam and the chanting of Harinama.

Today, the palanquin will be staying in Dharashiv city. Tomorrow, the palanquin will depart for its onward journey to Pandharpur via Tuljapur.
