Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has said that cooperation between the government and private hospitals is essential to provide quality healthcare facilities to the last section of the society. He highlighted the need for coordination between the government and the private sector for the development of the health sector.

The well-equipped Ashoka Healthcare Women and Children's Hospital in Nashik was inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla yesterday. He was speaking at the time.

Birla said that it is necessary to prioritize modern technology, research and new treatment methods in the medical sector, along with meeting the health needs of rural areas. He emphasized on strengthening infrastructure to make healthcare more comprehensive and accessible to the common man.

On this occasion, the Lok Sabha Speaker mentioned the Central Government's Ayushman Bharat Yojana and the policy to increase medical education seats in the country. He said that these initiatives are bringing about major changes in the healthcare sector.

He also appreciated the important role played by Maharashtra in the field of vaccine production during the Corona pandemic. He mentioned that Maharashtra's contribution in strengthening the country's health system is remarkable.

Rajasthan's Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar, State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, MP Shobha Bachhav, MP Rajabhau Waje and many other dignitaries were present at the event.

Meanwhile, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla visited the Jyotirlinga Shri Kshetra Trimbakeshwar Temple and had darshan.
