खेड तालुक्यातील शेलारवाडीत भूस्खलन; एका महिलेची सुखरूप सुटका

A sudden landslide occurred late at night in Shelarwadi, Dahivali village, Khed taluka, Ratnagiri district. In this accident, a part of a house collapsed, trapping three people in the house under the debris.

Of these, 75-year-old Kalpana Shelar was successfully pulled out from under the rubble thanks to the promptness and help of local villagers. However, two other people are still trapped under the rubble and a war-like search operation is underway to pull them out.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the local administrative officers and the Disaster Management Department team immediately reached the spot. Rescue work is being carried out rapidly with the help of NDRF and local bodies to safely evacuate the citizens trapped under the debris. Realizing the seriousness of the incident, Ratnagiri Guardian Minister Dr. Uday Samant immediately visited the spot around 6 am today. He has personally reviewed the relief work and reassured the affected families.

Guardian Minister Samant has ordered the administration to immediately relocate other vulnerable families in the accident-hit area and surrounding areas to a safe place.
