Indian women boxers have performed remarkably, winning three gold and ten silver medals at the ongoing Asian Under-19 and Under-23 Boxing Championships in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.

In the under-19 category, Chandrika Pujari and Prachi won gold medals after performing strongly in their respective weight categories. While Gunjan, Joyshree, Chahat, Anshika, Megha Shyokand and Prachi Tokas won silver medals.

Indian athletes also performed well in the under-23 category. Nisha won the gold medal in the 54 kg weight category. While Nitika Chand, Kajal, Muskan and Priyanka won silver medals in their respective weight categories.

The performance of Indian women boxers in this competition has added medals to the country's tally, and the excellent performance of the young athletes is being widely praised.
