Against the backdrop of reports regarding "Petrol Unavailable" signboards being displayed at certain locations in the state's Dharashiv district, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has issued a clarification. Through a post on social media, HPCL has affirmed that a steady and uninterrupted supply of fuel is being maintained within the district.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that public sector oil marketing companies are ensuring a consistent supply of both fuel and cooking gas. It was further stated that a 100% supply of LPG for domestic use is being ensured, while priority is being accorded to the commercial supply of LPG for hospitals, educational institutions, pharmaceutical manufacturing centers, the agricultural sector, and other essential industries.

The government has appealed to citizens not to give credence to rumors and to continue making purchases as usual, urging them to refrain from panic buying or purchasing out of fear. Furthermore, it has been clarified that to obtain accurate information regarding fuel availability, citizens should rely solely on official statements issued by authorized oil marketing companies.
