Two young men were killed and another person was injured in a shooting by unidentified criminals late Wednesday evening in Ballia village, Ratanpur Makdumma Panchayat, under the Amarpur police station area of Banka district. According to information received, the deceased have been identified as Situ Singh, son of Jagdish Singh, and Gunjan Singh, son of Arjun Singh, both residents of Dharamrai village in the Shambhuganj police station area. Another person is reportedly injured and is undergoing treatment.

Banka Superintendent of Police Amitesh Kumar stated that the case is being investigated from every angle, and police teams are actively working to identify and arrest the perpetrators. He added that evidence is being collected from the scene and raids are being conducted in the surrounding areas.
