An official First Information Report (FIR) has been registered by the Maharashtra Police against Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke, party member Ajay Shinde, and four to five unidentified associates at the Ausa Police Station in Latur district. The legal action was initiated following an official complaint lodged by Sayyed Shamshadbano Khairatali (53), a teacher at a local Zilla Parishad Urdu School in Jawali near Ausa. According to authorities, the incident occurred during an unannounced visit linked to the CJP’s ongoing 'School Thik Karo' (Improve Government Schools) initiative.

The complainant alleged that Dipke and his team entered the school premises without administrative authorization, sat among schoolchildren during active classroom hours, and subjected staff to questioning regarding school management and teaching standards. The visit allegedly disrupted the educational workflow and administrative operations of the public institution.

Allegations of Defamation and Intimidation

The complaint details that the CJP founder filmed the entire interaction and circulated the video footage across social media platforms. The complainant asserted that the video portrayed the institution in a derogatory manner by making claims that students from another school had been brought in to artificially inflate attendance numbers during the visit.

Furthermore, the FIR notes that when teachers confronted the group regarding their unauthorized presence, Dipke allegedly used derogatory remarks against the staff and threatened them with job suspension. Police have invoked several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Section 132 (assault or criminal force to deter a public servant from discharging official duty), Section 329(3) (criminal trespass), Section 351(2) (criminal intimidation), Section 356(2) (defamation), and Section 3(5) (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).

Campaign Context and Police Investigation

The 'School Thik Karo' campaign was launched by Abhijeet Dipke in Hingoli following public demonstrations concerning academic governance and national exam integrity. Under this campaign, CJP workers have been visiting various government schools across Maharashtra's Marathwada region to highlight infrastructural deficiencies, teacher absenteeism, and resource shortages.

Latur police officials confirmed that an active investigation is underway at the Ausa police station to gather statements from school authorities, review video footage shared online, and complete necessary legal procedures.
