In the backdrop of Ashadhi Wari, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde yesterday inspected the various facilities provided by the administration for the Warkaris in Pandharpur.

On this occasion, he interacted with the Warkaris and learned about their experiences and memories of the Warkaris. Deputy Chief Minister Shinde said that the government is vigilant 24 hours a day and all the systems are ready to ensure that the Warkaris do not face any inconvenience.

The Deputy Chief Minister inspected the cleanliness of the Chandrabhaga riverbed and the desert area from a boat. He instructed the concerned officials to give top priority to the safety of the Warkaris.

He inaugurated the medical room set up by the Health Department. He also inspected the emergency room set up for the Warkari in the Bhaktisagar area. On this occasion, he planted trees in the area.

In the backdrop of the Ashadhi Yatra, he reviewed the darshan arrangements and the preservation work of Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Temple to ensure easy and quick darshan for the Warkaris. After this, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had the face-to-face darshan of Shri Vitthal-Rukmini.
