Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has informed that the Chief Minister has taken cognizance of the cases involving the disappearance of tribal girls in Yavatmal. He was speaking to journalists in Nagpur today.

"Both the Chief Minister and I are closely monitoring this matter," he stated. He further added that a thorough inquiry into the case would be conducted.

Speaking in the context of Amravati, Bawankule appealed to the public to refrain from trading allegations or making statements that could create communal discord in such sensitive matters, particularly before official information is released by the police.
