The state government has taken an important decision for the effective implementation of the Chief Minister Baliraja Shet-Panand Road Scheme and to bring more coherence in the work of the scheme. Co-chairmen have been officially appointed in 91 assembly constituency level committees in the state.

Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule informed that the government decision in this regard was issued yesterday. He has ordered all the district collectors to urgently complete the necessary legal process by including all the newly appointed co-chairmen in the relevant committees.

Under the Chief Minister Baliraja Farm-Panand Road Scheme, the government aims to provide necessary roads to farmers to reach their farms, improve transportation facilities in rural areas, and accelerate agriculture-related activities.

The Revenue Department has said that the inclusion of co-chairmen in the assembly constituency-level committees will help in creating greater coordination in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the scheme.
