Chandrapur Police and the Anti-Terrorism Squad have become alert in the wake of the social media activities of Pakistan's notorious gangster Shahzad Bhatti, who is trying to lure the country's unemployed youth into anti-national and terrorist activities by luring them with money.

It has been reported that Shahzad Bhatti is targeting unemployed youth in India, especially in local areas. In this context, the police have questioned three suspected youths who follow Shahzad Bhatti on social media. These include one from Durgapur and two from Ghugghus.

Investigative agencies have received information that young people who do not have a job or a source of income are being targeted and offered huge amounts of money. Although these activities may seem simple at first, the possibility of a conspiracy to commit anti-national activities is being investigated.

Some youths are easily drawn to such activities due to the need for money. However, the investigating agencies suspect that the threads of these cases are connected to terrorist networks in Pakistan.

In Chandrapur district too, after youths were found following the gangster on social media, the police detained them and interrogated them. During the interrogation, no suspicious information or direct involvement in anti-national activities was found from them. They have since been released and the police are monitoring their movements.
